Prash is an NHS doctor, Associate Non-executive Director at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust and the founder of two healthcare start-ups. He is also a mentor on the NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur Programme and currently Fellow to the NHS National Medical Director.
In 2019, he founded LinkMedics (thelinkmedics.com) to support British citizens who had completed medical training outside the UK, ensuring the NHS could nurture UK talent. LinkMedics is now the world-leading “one-stop-shop” for overseas-trained healthcare professionals. As Chief Executive Officer, Prash provides clinical leadership to LinkMedics programmes, which provide pastoral care, professional development, clinical teaching and supported NHS employment. LinkMedics has delivered millions in NHS savings, working closely with NHS Trusts across the country.
In 2023, Prash was appointed as an Associate Non-executive Director at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, an essential mental health provider Trust with a large footprint across Greater Manchester. Prash’s portfolio covers a wide landscape of health, social care and education; he was previously an Innovation Fellow at the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System, and he currently sits on the governing board of his previous primary school in Lancashire. Prash has completed training at the NHS Leadership Academy and a Graduate Diploma in Law. Prash actively mentors young migrants who aspire to pursue careers in the NHS or entrepreneurship, increasing social mobility. Later in 2024, he was appointed Clinical Lead for Educator Support at the Medical University of Bolton.
In 2023, Prash won Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and in 2024 he was later honoured as one of the UK’s “100 most influential people”.
